And now to watch the end of Nodame Cantabile.

A trip to the super-bookstore today yielded no manga, but I did find a gem of a book titled Eats Shoots and Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation by Lynne Truss. A british humor book on punctuation? Yes, please, don't mind if I do! And it came with a "Punctuation Repair Kit" consisting of a variety of stickers including ones that say, "The panda says no!"

Also acquired: a german book for husband, a dictionary/thesaurus, and a book titled Novelist's Boot Camp because, as husband put it, I "need to write something other than fangirlism all the time". Sheesh, do I detect a hint of jealousy?

Other than that, working on Hundred Ghost perspective and a bizarre crossover that my brain has spawned. Not sure where it's going, but it's not romantic fluff, so I see it as a growth opportunity.

Just as a general alert to everyone that sees my name nearly every damned day on their friendlist: This profile of mine exists mainly for fan-fiction, but i also created it to prevent spamming up my "real life" profile with writing in general. and in the spirit of my recent discontent, i have decided to re-form an old habit!

not all of them will be posted here, but most will likely wind up around somewhere, as well as random short stories i'm hoping to write. if you have f-list spam problems already, and don't want me to contribute, i will hold it against no one is they choose to remove me from said f-lists.

also, i make no guarantee of the quality of the poetry. i used to be good at it in high school, compared to other high schoolers, but i'm twenty-one now so that theory is likely to be bunk. and as my husband thoughtfully pointed out once, i don't write the most light-hearted poetry, either. constructive-crit and feedback is always appreciated but not expected.
